The Shift Methodology

Shift Worldwide has developed the Shift Methodology that enables leaders to quickly assess and dramatically increase the likelihood of success in executing any strategic initiative.

Gear Shift

FIRST GEAR

First Gear is characterized by a slow movement forward in one direction.  There may have been a decision made to move in one direction (finally).  Parties are in agreement that something should be done, but “what” those things are is still undecided.

If in First Gear, there are likely many options an organization is considering to solve a problem.  The question is: What are the best options, given the current internal and external climate?

Shift Worldwide’s approach to Facilitation and Coaching is recommended to move out of First Gear.  Facilitation will help the leadership team decide upon, agree and commit to the best approach to solve the problem given the circumstances.  Coaching will provide the leader of the initiative with the support and guidance needed to activate the plans agreed to during facilitation.
