The Shift Methodology

Shift Worldwide has developed the Shift Methodology that enables leaders to quickly assess and dramatically increase the likelihood of success in executing any strategic initiative.

Gear Shift

THIRD GEAR

Third Gear is characterized by a brisk movement forward in one direction.  Your leadership team has agreed on a direction, what to do and who will be affected.  They have the skills to help build buy-in with all or part of the rest of the organization.  It’s now time to roll out a wider initiative through communication and training.

If in Third Gear, organizations announce the initiative to appropriate audiences and train those who need specific skill sets.  Communicating the objectives of the initiative and giving people the opportunity to learn sets the stage for a strong movement forward.

Shift Worldwide’s approach to Training is recommended to move out of Third Gear.  Training (or retraining) will provide support to people who may need to acquire a specific skill set to help execute the initiative.
