The Shift Methodology

Shift Worldwide has developed the Shift Methodology that enables leaders to quickly assess and dramatically increase the likelihood of success in executing any strategic initiative.

Gear Shift

REVERSE

Reverse Gear is characterized by an undoing of progress.  You may be in retreat from market conditions, slogging through an internal crisis or in the process of rethinking strategies or tactics that once were or may never have been successful.

If your organization is in retreat from market conditions, your organization is likely losing sales and market share, but has not determined a remedy to stop the bleeding.

If slogging through an internal crisis, your organization may not have the right internal resources to help you execute your strategy or strategic initiative, which is causing a reversal in progress.

If rethinking strategies or tactics that once were or may never have been successful, an event occurred that shifted perspectives.  You have yet to redirect; the strategy or tactic that is not working is still in place.

Shift Worldwide’s approach to Research, Facilitation and Coaching is recommended to move out of Reverse.  Research will give leadership teams a baseline of data from which to make decisions that will give the organization direction.  Facilitation will help the leadership team decide upon, agree and commit to the best path forward.   Coaching will help guide leaders to decisions before publicizing them, and help them in the process of building buy-in for a new direction.
