The icon in the Shift Worldwide logo is the shape of a gear shift in an automobile. When operating a vehicle manually, a person uses a gear shift to speed up, slow down or go backward. A gear shift has seven gears: Neutral, Reverse, First Gear, Second Gear, Third Gear, Fourth Gear and Fifth Gear.
As when operating a vehicle, the “driver” of the organization is responsible for choosing a direction, finding the right speed based on the conditions and shifting gears when going too fast or too slow.
Shift Worldwide helps these “drivers of change” by identifying the direction they are going and the speed at which they are moving based on current conditions.
To shift gears within their organizations, drivers can use Shift Worldwide’s proprietary approach to Research, Facilitation, Training and Coaching. A combination of these tools will enable shifting out of the gear in which the organization finds itself. Shift Worldwide works with leaders to develop custom approaches to change using one or all of the tools.
Be sure to take the Shift Analysis, which will help you determine what gear your organization is in, the issues you may be facing and what your next step may be. |
